Saddest of News...
Dear Luchetti DA Fans...it is with the heaviest of hearts that relay to all of you that my dearest little bro Sam passed away this past summer...one month shy of his 31st birthday...
He loved DA and the community it provided him...he felt safe here to fully express himself...in the outside world he felt his true self was stifled by the harshness of society and circumstances... Thank you to all of his DA friends for all the love and support you gave him here...he definitely felt isolated when he wasn't able to get online and share with all of you...
He just woke me up in a dream...we were hanging out together in some kind of a workshop...and the work shop had a diner of sorts inside...Sam was sitting at the counter on a stool in the diner...and I came up behind him and gave him the biggest hug I could...feeling just so happy to see him!...he told me I was being over protective...I sat down to look at him and said "you're dead, I can't protect you anymore"...and we both chuckled a bit...my family has always harbored a dark sense of humor...and then he asked me "do you hate me?"...and the tears began welling up in my eyes and I said "Noooo...I have nothing but the purest love for you!"...we exchanged a look of what Sam would call "warm fuzzy love"...shortly after I woke with real tears running down my face...and then felt compelled to get on DA and check out Sam's page to feel close to him...
After seeing all the comments on his drawings and journals, I felt as if I needed to tell his DA community that he has left this earth...and that we lost such a caring, kind hearted, spectacular human being...I am thankful that he left behind such wonderful art for us to remember him by........
